THOM HELL from Mr Mibbler - Take Five No: 86

Can you tell us about your new album?
Our new album differs from our two previous albums. We wanted to take our initial musical idea further. So, where it used to be us three in Mr Mibbler improvising over sketches, we invited one artist/ musician for each track to improvise solo. And then we would do the rest of the music, without them knowing what the end result would be.
What other projects are you currently involved in?
I wrote and recorded a new Thom Hell album this spring which will be released mid-January 2022.

What are your currently listening to and what was the last CD or download you bought?
The latest week, I have been listening a lot to the Throb album by Gary Burton. I bought all the Divine Comedy albums on vinyl recently and I believe there was a downloading code attached!
What is your all-time favourite album and why?
Laughing Stock by Talk Talk. It sounds like nothing else, in my opinion. And to me it feels like the songs are constantly changing, depending on what mood I’m in.
Who has caught your attention recently that we should be listening out for?
Andreas Ulvo just released a new album called Trust which I highly recommend!
